Previous Attendee Reviews
I am so grateful to have found Informed Medics. They have taken the guesswork out of how to format your study. By progressing through the provided material of their lecture library and practice exam question bank, it’s a great way to know how you’re tracking prior to the real exams.
Dr Kate Idiens, Accredited Radiology Registrar, NZ
The physics intensive weekend course helped me understand the concepts behind the physics used for X-rays, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound. Their online notes, example answers and MCQs were really useful to pass the exam.
Dr Mark Zuriek, Accredited Radiology Registrar, NSW, Attended 2021 Anatomy & Physics Course
The Informed Medics Physics course is an excellent resource for radiology trainees preparing for the phase 1 AIT exam. The content is concise, well-structured, and closely aligned with RANZCR’s learning objectives. The high-yield questions and MCQs are particularly valuable, reinforcing key physics concepts while highlighting common pitfalls. Each module focuses on essential exam-relevant material without overwhelming detail, making it efficient and practical for busy trainees. Overall, it’s a highly effective and beneficial resource for anyone looking to strengthen their physics foundation for Part 1
Dr Sota Kamiya, Accredited Radiology Registrar, NZ, Attended 2025 Anatomy & Physics Course & Mock Exams
The Physics courses were recommended to me by a friend and fellow radiology registrar and I can highly recommend them. Structured, detailed, high yield content with additional practice questions and mock exam options. I feel these resources are incredibly valuable in preparing for the RANZCR Phase 1 examinations
Dr Cassandra Worme, Accredited Radiology Registrar, Tasmania, Attended 2023 Physics Course
I found the Physics and Anatomy courses incredibly helpful for my exam prep as they lay out the fundamental concepts in an easy-to-understand and clear format. The practice questions were particularly useful in reinforcing my knowledge and boosting my confidence. Highly recommend it to anyone preparing for their exams as they are truly a great resource!
Dr Reabal Najjar, Radiology SRMO, ACT , Attended 2023 Physics & Anatomy Course
The Physics content is a fantastic resource! Each modality is presented in an approachable and clear format which is easy to understand. This makes learning the content much easier and gives you a good foundation to allow you to best prepare for the Part 1 exams.
Dr Riley Pulford, Accredited Radiology Registrar, Western Australia, Attended 2023 Anatomy & Physics Course + 2024 Anatomy & Physics Mock Exam for Accredited Radiology Registrars
In preparing to get onto the training program and aiming for a first attempt Phase 1 pass, the Informed Medics Physics Course was my most efficient resource for preparation. The content was well presented and easy to understand, even from a layman background. The quiz questions align with the Phase 1 standard and are particularly helpful for exam prep as the presenters point out common pitfalls and gimmicks. The way the topics are set out in 1-2 recorded videos makes it very easy to revisit weak points or topics at intervals – for example I have watched the radiation safety component of the course quite a few times over the past year. Overall I would highly recommend the physics course for Phase 1 prep.
Dr Mohammed Morsi, Unaccredited Surgical Registrar, VIC, Attended 2025 Physics & Anatomy Course + 2024 Physics Course
